The mother informed the police and Zonas body was exhumed for an autopsy, which she had died from several injuries due to a severe beating. Harpers Ferry
(Harpers Ferry National Park)
The ghost of John Brown walks with his dog down the street to the fire house, then they disappear. And at St. Peter's Catholic Church, up on the hill, a ghost of a priest disappears through a wall on the right side of the church. The front steps of the church are also said to be haunted by a baby that was said to have been killed in the Civil War. Its cries are still heard on the steps. These are just a few accounts of the hauntings in Harpers Ferry |
