You Poison me

You run around, carefree
Like a bull in a china shop
Shattering my dreams,
My thoughts of how it should be.

I trusted you, let me into your mind
Even though you shut me out from yours
And blamed me for all your problems-
The problems, not just the poison you never let me find.

I carried all your burdens for you
As if this cripple's own weren't enough
I did it to help, I care- oblivious
To what you didnt show me- you poisoned me through.

Now I see what you've done I cast you aside
Pick myself up & walk away
Too many years helping you poison me
Damaging my soul. my heart, my pride.
