Are we even moving,
Do we really need to?
Are we going forwards together
Or drifting apart?
Makes no sense in my heart.

When we're together I'm on top of the world
But usually we're not and I feel Empty
Now I'm numb to the emptiness
Doesnt matter that you're not there
I want to know if I even care!

I long to spend more time with you
But I can't change this cruel world
Thrown apart, wishing it's not so.
Don't even know what you're doing now
But obviously something's gone right-
We're still together, hardly ever fight.

I want you with me now and always
I wish our lives didn't separate us
I'd be happy in your arms forever
But the future may try to take you away,
You know I'd visit every day.
