| Blundering
When I saw you first walk through the door Into my life for three hours a week I instantly wished to see you more Before you even parted your lips to speak. I don't judge people by appearance- I'm deep Yet how could I resist? Long golden hair, Glinting, I catch your eye and want to keep Paddling in the fresh blue pools I see there. A gentle poke, a subtle hint- Do you get it? Here's me wishing for social contact with you Finding it possible, the light of my heart is lit Thanks to a friend so dear, my wish came true. Even now when you chat happily with me Not knowing if you feel the same, wondering If what I see in you is something you see When you look at me in my dark world, blundering. Home Poems |
