Bite me

Poems
I am but an apple
The orchard is young,
My flavour fresh.
As I grow, bigger each day,
My weight bends the branch
From which I hang.

I am fat.

Suddenly, with no warning-
Falling in the breeze
I hit the harsh earth.

Pain.

A large, brown bruise
obscures my core.
Bite me.
