| clouds float by leaving the pain, and the fear, on the ground behind, they don't care that life may be ending, down there, these clouds hide the wonder, and the honesty, of the sky beyond, the clouds are ambivalent, they don't care one way or the other, they hide the good, and the wonderful, beauty beyond, clouds float by, hopefully to leave, an opening for the good to shine through and light up the faces of the children below. 10/8/04 |
