Some Twin Peaks fan fiction

Introduction

Twin Peaks was a TV programme broadcast from 1989-1991, and created by Mark Frost and David Lynch. There were 30 episodes, but the very last episode ended with an incredible cliffhanger that the writers had hoped to resolve if there were more episodes. In fact, the writers wanted to continue the programme for a third series. However, the TV company (ABC) cancelled the programme and so the cliffhanger was never resolved. Fans were left wondering what would happen next...

Warning! Contains spoilers! You can read a very short summary of the TV series here. But do not read this if you have not seen the whole series, as it contains major spoilers.

Loose ends

The story has arrived at a point with several loose ends:

(1) Dale Cooper's body is possessed by BOB. What is going to happen about this? How long before his friends and colleagues realise? What are they going to do about it?

(2) The good Dale Cooper is trapped in the Black Lodge. Can he escape? If so, how?

(3) Annie Blackburn has escaped from the Black Lodge and been taken to hospital. What kind of physical and mental state is she in? Will she survive?

(4) A bomb has exploded at the Bank while Andrew Packard, Pete Martell, Audrey Horne and Dell Mibbler are inside. Do they survive?

(5) Dr Hayward has attacked Ben Horne, cutting his forehead and knocking him unconscious. Is he all right?

(6) Nadine Hurley has reverted back to her original personality, has rejected Mike, and is angry that Ed has brought Norma into their house. How does this situation resolve itself?

(7) Leo Johnson is still trapped in a log cabin, and his tooth is tied to a box of (possibly venomous) spiders. Will he escape or be rescued, or will the box fall, thus releasing its contents?

Annie and the Dweller on the Threshold (A conclusion to the story)

I have written one more episode, which (tries to) tie up these loose ends and bring the story to a more satisfactory ending.

Here is the episode: Annie and the Dweller on the Threshold

Here is the episode as a Word document: Annie and the Dweller on the Threshold as Word document

Here is the episode as a text file, which may be read with Notepad: Annie and the Dweller on the Threshold as text file
