Well, I'm back on the west coast. I decided to accompany my kid brother. It's a good thing we're both out here, too, since it makes doggie duty much easier. Hehe.

I haven't posted in a while because, well, I haven't felt any need to. I had a good week at home, but just never had the inspiration to write anything down for public viewing. I figured I should really put something down, so here I am writing at this ungodly hour. Hehe who am I kidding, I'm always up this late!

So yes, I spent all of one week (exactly) at home. It was a heck of a week, though. I registered for my fall classes, all of which will be studying business or marketing. I need to prep for my GMATs. Plus it keeps me from working! Mwa ha ha. I enjoyed my down time (which was all of it) hanging out with friends. Angela and I hit a couple bars, which was nice. Especially since we saw our pedestal guy at Fridays... can we say SWOON! I got to see Lauren and her kid, and am pleased to announce that she bought a house! AND I got to see
Charles, who I haven't seen since we graduated. We tried to go see the Powerpuff Girls movie, but the times on the website were 20 minutes off, so we missed it. Oh well.

Instead we rented Sex and the City. Chuck watched a few eps with me, as did Angela. And I've decided that those girls are just TRYING to mess up their love lives. I hope that my love life will not be that icky or stupid come that age. I mean really, these women aren't exactly settled with themselves and keep looking for completion in a man. There's mistake number one. Perhaps I'm being a bit idealistic, but I think finding a partner should be to find someone to complement you, not complete your missing parts. I suppose they can be looked at as one in the same, but I don't think so. There's a fine distinction. Next, these women are SO one-dimensional. Perhaps if you shove all 4 of them into 1, then you'll have a multi-faceted person. But I guess that's what keeps the show interesting. Don't get me wrong, I really enjoy watching it. It's funny and candidly hit some very real topics. But I would hope that the viewing audience doesn't actually think that these women are accurate portrayals. Or worse, maybe I'm in the minoroty and the rest of the audience actually IS like these characters.

That's all for now... Night!

11:44 pm PST

I'm in on a Friday night. I am on the Strip, and I'm in. Well, I had a headache earlier and decided against going to the bars (plus, people were having such a difficult time deciding on where to go that it was making my headache worse), so instead I watched "Whisper of the Heart," an anime, with my younger brother. It's both heartwarming and depressing to watch junior high kids find love when I, as a college graduate, do not. But hey, that's an animation, and I'm real. Two very different realities. I require far more than simple love to have my heart won over anyways... Sigh. Hehe.

This would have been a good night to go out, too... IF I WAS AT HOME. I happened to call Angela on her cell and found that she was keeping VERY ideal company at Sequoia in Georgetown. Why couldn't I have had such good fortune when we went last Friday! Oh well, so goes the luck of the draw. I'm just here in sunny California surrounded by beautiful people (oh yeah, I saw Rachel Leigh Cook walking down Doheny earlier today)... poor me. Tee hee.

I do believe that tomorrow we are going to 6 Flags. Should be fun. I missed out on it this past Thanksgiving because of my trip to Milan. Not that I'm complaining... It was ITALY folks! It should be more fun now that X is open, that crazy roller coaster that seems like the Zipper on crack. I can't wait! Plus there's always Superman... with 6 seconds of zero gravity! Yay! I suppose I'll sleep now to prepare myself for a nice long day of coaster maddness!
