| 1 July 2002 11:27 pm PST Monday Well, Chicago got nixed. JQ decided that I couldn't stay with him because of his roommates, and I can't stay with Rachel's cousin either (he's in a studio... way too small), so the trip fell through. What a shame, too, since I haven't seen JQ in over a year. But hey, wasn't my problem, so I'm not sweating it. Instead, I shall be staying here in LA for the rest of the week. I've been having a nice time since Angela left. Sleeping in even more than usual, and watching quality tv (cartoons!). I'm perfectly content here. Life is laid back and stress-free: Lounging most of the day, go out on weekends (I got to dance on Saturday!), free food. I've been reading Katharine Graham's "Personal History". I went out to dinner with Josh tonight, and will see him later this week too for shopping and a movie. That means my brother gets at least some time away from me (being at work doesn't count). I don't think I've worn out my welcome (yet) because thankfully my brother and I get along incredibly well. Plus I make brownies. Not much else to say tonight, as nothing much is new. Well, they are showing GI Joe on Cartoon Network. And I'm not talking about remakes, I mean the original show. What can I say. Life is good. |
