Yesterday was SUCH a good day! First, I instigated a fight. Then it snowed a whole bunch, which made driving more like skiing in a car. And lastly, I coined a new term.

Yeah, this may sound really stupid to people who don't sing or, well, care about that kind of thing... but I instigated a fight in my choir class between the sopranos and altos. Our Handel piece is really high, and a lot of the sopranos can't sing their part well, so our conductor wants them to go down to alto. I jokingly say, 'yeah you're being demoted to alto'. (Cuz if you think about it, they're literally lowering their voice part, so it's a kind of demotion...) A few of the altos heard that, were really offended, and started yelling at the sopranos. One even yelled at the conductor cuz she thought that he said the sopranos would be demoted. This whole exchange of insults (the sopranos have boring voice parts... blah blah) took up about 10 minutes of class. And all cuz of little ole me. Yay!

It snowed a lot last night, too. Dropped about 4 inches, at least, totally covering the roads. Our plow trucks suck, so there was still, like, a nice thick layer of snow on all the roads, leaving my car to lots of spinning and swaying. I was nervous at first, but at 3 in the morning and no cars on the road, I did whatever the hell I liked. I was driving in the smack dab middle of 2 or 3 lane roads. I was leaving giant curvy ribbon-like tracks. I'd speed up on straight streets where there was a hill coming up so I could just coast. I spun out on corners on purpose and because it was fun. I never knew driving in the snow could be that fun!

And the term I coined: belligedrunk. Our friend Natasha gets nasty when she's drunk. She was being all serious and, well, belligerent while playing pool. She stepped on Mike's foot hard just because he and Angela switched turns... saying that it was cheating. Angry drunk... belligedrunk.

And tonight: Jen comes. Tomorrow: museums in DC. Tomorrow night: we hit a club (translation: dancy dancy). Sunday: dim sum. Yay!
