I LOVE the snow! Sure we've been stuck in the house for 3 days, but still... I'm a homebody anyways, so all is good. We have at least 2 feet of snow courtesy of
one of the biggest storms in history that swept my area (and the rest of the east coast) the other day. I went to the Common Area on Sunday night to go sledding, and when I got home probably 45 minutes later all the tracks I'd left walking there were covered. The funny thing is that, after 4 winters at school, what we have now doesn't feel like that much. But EVERONE is having a hard time cleaning this snow up from here to Boston. It's not like DC is a pitiful gimp in the dealing with it department. But it is a lot of snow for the area, and we're just having a hard time cleaning the stuff up. There are 4 feet high banks where the plows pushed it aside in my neighborhood. We need to get one of those machines they use in Philly - the kind that melts the snow instead of just pushing it aside. That'd be nifty. I hope school is cancelled tomorrow, which will hopefully happen since every other school in the area is closed. That way I play more and throw more shovelfuls of snow at the doggie.

I admit it: I watched
Joe Millionaire last night. I was not one of those diehard fans that watched weekly, mind you, just the first and last show. If you think about it, that's all anyone really needs to watch in these dating shows. The first one introduces everyone, the last one recaps everything important, and more importantly humorous, that's happened since then. I'm glad Zora won. She's totally not my type of person, but she seemed much nicer and sweeter and less, well, bondage-y than the blonde chick. Plus, while neither were particularly gorgeous, Zora was prettier (didn't wear as much make up to cover up wrinkles probably caused by tanning or being tied up like the blonde chick). But yeah, I chose Joe Millionaire over the 2 Michael Jackson specials. The dude scares me now, so I chose dumb, but almost attractive Evan.

Tonight would have been another television event to watch:
Yao v. Shaq II. But Shaq is a woosy and took himself out of the Rockets-Lakers game tonight because of a sore knee. I would think that Shaq would play because he's the only person big enough to take Yao, and because it's the rematch of the year, and because the Lakers need the win to get into playoff contention. But hey, Shaq wants to heal before the playoffs (assuming they even get there).
