The song of the day is "Crush" by Mandy Moore.

My days keep getting better and better. Friday's semi-formal was a total blast. Four times as many people showed up this year as last, which is great. Surprise surprise (and I mean it this time) I did NOT wear something red. Actually there wasn't a single item of clothing on me that had the slightest hint of red. Amazing huh!

Saturday was tons o fun. Had dinner with Jeff. I think I've seen him a grand total of 6 times this entire school year. We hung out all the time last year! But yeah, we went to get chinese food. Then Billie,
Chuck and I went to a party where Phil's band was playing. I had such a great time because there were a bunch of people there. I was being extra fiesty and flirting with some people I generally don't flirt with. Luckily it ended extremely well with one of them (I know I know, crushing on someone whose soul belongs to an evil class is bad). But there was some unwanted attention. One was annoying as hell Pat. And Zach put his friend on me though (cuz he thought I was cute), which is flattering but I had no interest whatsoever. I took a few pictures, though I wish I took more. Garret and I went to the bars for an hour where they were celebrating Mardi Gras (I love those beads) and then I went back to the party place. Then went home, stayed up till 5am entertaining, went to bed and woke up 4 hours later because my neighbors were loud again.

So I spent a good amount of Sunday with Charles. I picked him up and he treated me to breakfast (thanks chuck!) and then we watched the 3 episodes of
Buffy that Josh's dad taped for him (and Josh was SO kind to lend to us). Then I studied my arse off for this family communication test... spoke to Angela for an hour or more... talked to my dad and brother... studied more...

And boy oh boy did that studying pay off. This is a teacher that I really like, but her tests are always majorly difficult. Good thing is that you find out your score pretty much right away, and to my absolute and utter amazement, I only got one wrong! And the silly thing is that I'd narrowed the answer down to 2 options, but I just chose the wrong one. Still... one wrong! That rocked my whole day!
