Spring break ended today (well, technically tomorrow, but I came home from LA today). I didn't party out MTV style: I didn't don a whipped cream bikini, I didn't drink so much that I don't remember anything, and I didn't even come home with a tan. And I most certainly will not be seen on one of those Girls Gone Wild videos.

I did, however, have a really good time. I hung out with Rachel, Phil and Laura for a few days. I scored a phone number Tuesday night. Went to a bar and a club (that's apparently a bit difficult to get into) on Wednesday where I saw Tara Reid. Thursday we went to a taping of Politically Incorrect. And Friday I saw a free screening of Panic Room (great thriller, btw) with my brother and his friends, then went to a bar on the Strip, got quite tipsy with them, and saw Alyssa Milano. I think one of my brother's friends was flirting with me, which was good because he was cute, but was bad because it was in front of my brother, and I'm still deciding whether or not to give him a call sometime since I have his phone number. Hehe. After 3 hours of sleep, I hopped on a plane back to DC, and here I am.

Albert was telling me how surreal it was going to a bar with his baby sister. Yeah - it seems that just yesterday I had pigtails and was riding my tricycle down the sidewalk. Scary how quickly we grow (not up, since I stayed pretty much the same height, but you know what I mean!) He said he wanted to punch every guy that looked at me. Haha. All I'm thinking is that if I can deal with him talking about how cute this or that girl is, he can deal with me flirting a little bit with a guy or two, even if it's his friend. Hehe.

Monday starts my last stretch in college. Yes that growing up thing is starting to suck. I still remember when I was a kid and imagining what college life would be like, and now I'm in college and figuring out that all my little dreams were for the most part totally wrong. Looking back I don't regret anything, but doing things differently would have been wiser. But no use looking to the past, right, since there's nothing I can do about it. Instead I shall focus on how to enjoy my present while I can, and do all sorts of fun and wonderful things that college kids do!
