Ah yes, the sun shines bright, palm trees blow in the breeze, H2s and Escalades cruise around, and big-breasted blondes walk the streets in next to nothing. Yup, I'm back in Los Angeles. Despite that disgusting brown haze over the city (apparently the Santa Ana's are here), I'm loving the fact that I can wear tank tops and flip flops outside without freezing my tootsies off. I knew it was going to be a good trip when I got first class on the flight over. This Thanksgiving weeks is going to be delightful.

I was a loving sister and drove my ass out to Arlington to this teensy little neighborhood pizza shop to get my brother his belated birthday gifts: the greats subs on the planet. These meatball subs are topped with sauce and cheese and toasted to a crispy goodness that my mouth thanks me for each time they meet. Since my brother decided to abandon the east coast, I brought part of it with me to visit him. They're all he wanted for his 28th (which was last month), so I was happy to oblige. I brought 3. Let me tell you, those Fillmores are mmm mmm good.

Alright, so I know it's been a few days since Smallville was on, but my oh my Jonathan Taylor Thomas is STILL hot! I remember him as adoreable from his Home Improvement days, but now he's just plain scrumptious. I'm telling ya, television is providing some major eye candy for us to enjoy. I mean there's Angel, Wesley, and Agent Vaugn on Sundays... That kid from Everwood on Mondays. Tuesdays belong to Spike and Jesse (Gilmore Girls) and Lex Luthor. Wednesdays... Yeah so I've taken a liking to Ed. Thursdays have Will. And Fridays have the entire cast of Firefly. I swear, each person on that show quite striking in his or her own way. Lol I'm addicted to TV.

But I won't be watching TV much this week. Why? Because we rented Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers on Playstation 2. That game is ADDICTIVE! The graphics are great, and clips from the movie are spliced in very smoothly, and it's just plain old cool. I play my future husband, of course, though he can be a bit slow with the parrying and getting up after getting knocked down. Well, hey, that's a good thing if when I "take him" he'll have a hard time blocking my moves and getting away from me. Lol! (One track mind, folks, let me remind you.) Unfortunately, you only get to play Legolas (yay!), Aragorn and Gimli. The hobbits are missing and Frodo is, well, he whines. Besides, what could hobbits do to fight. Hehe. But yeah, the game is a blast. Legolas shoots like a freaking machine gun, Aragorn is fastest with his sword, and Gimli can run right through a mess of orcs, get hit, barely get health taken off but kill with one swing of the axe. Totally the right character for reckless abandon. I think I may have to leave Legolas for him, at least for this game. We've been playing for nearly 4 hours today... We'll be playing this all week!
