| 5 January 2002 Saturday 2:34 am Happy New Year! Let's hope 2002 is the best ever, and it should be considering that I'm graduating in 5 months! *shudder* That's kind of scary, actually. I just realized that I actually kept a few of last year's resolutions. I wanted to read more, and I got about 20 books under my belt last year. I also wanted to make going to the gym habitual, which it was... only at school, though. So kudos to me! This years resolutions? They're quite simple, actually. It's none of that "I resolve to lose 20 pounds" because it NEVER happens. Instead, I resolve to wash my face every single night (I often just go right to bed) and to moisturize every night. All in all I just need to treat my skin much better. I also want to eat more fruits and veggies, but we'll see how long that lasts. And I want to keep up with that reading a whole lot deal, which shouldn't be too big of a deal. OH. And this is my major resolution: I RESOLVE TO GET A JOB AFTER I GRADUATE!!! But until then. I am having a dandy time celebrating that 21 thing. My dear Angela has taken me to several bars in the last couple days. The silly thing is that no one even cards me. You mean I could have been frequenting bars before this! Hehe. But yes, I just got back from another bar (Clyde's in Tysons, if you care) just a little bit ago. The funny thing about these bars I've been to is that they scream "high school reunion." The first bar I went to with Angela was Rock Bottom in Ballston, and we met up with a couple girls from high school, one of whom I haven't seen since we graduated in '98. Then Angela and I went to Fridays last night and saw like seven DJO people. We didn't speak to most of them, actually, though I did say hello to Will Driscoll (still cute and going to med school!) and apologized for bumping into Connor Fitzpatrick (still hot). The strange part of that night was that we saw Donnie Kane, who I was so-so with in hs, and we all ended up chilling back at his place. Cool thing is that his friend and college roommate bought me a couple drinks. Score. Seeing all these people was kinda weird, but it's also funny to know that NO ONE looks different at all. Maybe I shouldn't bother going to my 5-year HS reunion cuz everyone will look the same. Yeah... I'll just go to the 10-year so that I can see what people actually ended up doing. Nifty sh!t: I just checked my email (I rarely check this email address) and I got a couple messages from people I've never met. They like my site! They were looking for info on Orlando Bloom and Sean Biggerstaff, and I guess some searches came upon my site. I didn't even know that anyone could find my homepage through search engines! I find that pretty darn cool. |
