I met my husband, Henry, in Paterson, N.J. at a candy store in 1959. He had just finished 4 years in the Navy on the ship the USS Hazelwood, and was visiting his Mother. She lived a few blocks from where I lived but I didn't know her before I met my husband. Henry and I dated for 2 years and were married on May 6,1961 at St. Theresa's Church in Paterson, N.J. We then lived in an apartment in Clifton, N.J. Then we purchased our first home in Andover, N.J. we lived there 28 years before moving to South Carolina.

Henry worked for the Government at Picatinny Arsenal in Dover, N.J. for 38 years. He received several awards for excellent achievment in his work duties as an Electrical Technician. We have three Children, Brian, Donna and Tracy, of which we are extremely proud. Henry loves to go fishing and hunting. One of his favorite things to do is to whip up delicious meals, as he loves to cook and bake.

Henry is the joy of my life because he listens and comforts me when I'm blue. He always has very nice things to say about me to friends and strangers, and he is my lover, my best friend, and my partner in life, until death do us part. On May 6, 2002 we will have been married 42 years. Henry is a "Treasure."
