A Page for
Tracy, the
Daughter I Love
From her Mother, June:
My daughter Tracy is loving, caring
and thoughtful. She has wanted to take care of animals since she was 5
years old. Her dreams were fulfilled when she became a Veterinary
Technician. She has worked at a veterinary clinic with for 8 years now. She loves her job and could not
imagine doing anything else. Her duties include assisting the doctors in
surgery, drawing blood, restraining animals and various other duties.
Besides her regular job at
the clinic, she also pet –sits for over 20 clients. Boarding can be
very stressful for some pets even their owners, so having her go to
their homes and keeping up their pet routines, as normal as possible,
keeps everyone happy.
All her clients love her and
tell me what a caring person she is and that my husband and I must have
done something great bringing her up. She even picks animals up who are
wandering on the roads, calling every area veterinary hospital, humane
society and putting advertisements in the paper to find the owners. And
if all fails, she finds good homes. Some of the pets she has now have
either been abused or abandoned.
.Tracy attended Wilson
College in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania and graduated in 1992 with a B.S.
degree in Biology.
She has had a variety
of pets that include four dogs, Charlie, Chuck, Boo, and Chase; three
cats; Neela, Luca, and Cagney; and a rabbit named Tipper. Cagney was a
gift from her employer after the loss of her 18 year old cat Pumpkin,
who is dearly missed by all of us in the family.
She is not only beautiful on
the outside she is beautiful on the inside. I want to let her know
how very proud our family is of her accomplishments.
The one thing that I admire
about her is that she is always willing to help anyone with questions or
problems about their pets. Whether it is an illness or something the
owner has noticed about their animals, she always takes the time to
listen and offer advice.
She is a wonderful person, a
sweetheart, and it is a joy to be in her company. Here are the animals
that she has surrounded with love
and affection.
