SUMMARY
Why am I recommending this?
I am recommendint this movie because my english teacher told me that I would enjoy it very much. Well he was right. I thought this movie was very intriguing and had wonderful scenes in it. This movie has also made me enjoy watching the actor Peter O'Toole. I highly recommend for every movie lover to watch it.
British officer T. E. Lawrence (Peter O'Toole) unites the desert tribes of Arabia against the Turks during WW1. It is about the trials and adventures that makes Lawrence a legendary man of the desert.
LAWRENCE OF ARABIA
1962
Directed by:
David Lean
David Lean originally wanted Albert Finney for the role of Lawrence but actress Katherine Hepburn told producer Sam Spiegal to cast Peter O'Toole.

The movie is 216 minutes long and doesn't have any women speaking roles.

Marlon Brando was also considered to be the part of Lawrence.

In the 1989 re-release some of the dialog was missing so David Lean had Peter O'Toole come back to re-record the missing dialog from twenty years earlier.

O'Toole called Omar Shariff 'Fred' because he stated that "no one in the world is called Omar Shariff, your name must be Fred."
