  • Synopsis 

Xue Ke is the daughter of a royal general who falls for a young man, Kao Han who works as a servant for her family.  She ran away with Kao Han when their relationship was rejected and also due to the fact that Shue Ke will be committed to a marriage arranged by her family. 

Unfortunately their plan failed and Kao Han was asked to leave and never returns.  Shue Ke later got pregnant and to avoid any further humiliation, her mother gave away the toddler to a old lady.  The kind-hearted woman took great care of the baby and raised her as her own child.  Xue Ke as arranged married to a rich young man, Loh Zhi Kang and her marriage life has never been happy. 

Years passed by very quickly and the little child grew up to be an adorable little girl named Xiao Yu Dian.  The old lady aged drastically and was diagnosed with an incurable sickness.  She decided to reunite Xiao Yu Dian with her mother, Shue Ke.  She sold her to Loh family as a maid and Xiao Yu Dian with her charm quickly captured the attention of Shue Ke.             

Loh Zhi Kang later found out the truth and began to torture Xiao Yu Dian.  After all the harsh and thick circumstances,  Shue Ke finally freed herself from the nightmare but sadly she never able to reach her dream as she passed away after that.
