Although located in a place that's seemingly unlikely to cultivate a scene, Georgetown is rapidly becoming a new hot spot for the arts. Established somewhere between 1888 and 1912, Jules Maes has become one of the few hip bars in Georgetown, Seattle to play host to the creative and the eccentric. 08.11.06 Scarlet Room works on new EP, establishes a new sound!
Scarlet Room has just finished recording their new EP that showcases the band's new direction influenced by the member's original musical upbringings rooted in theatre, jazz, and classical music. The band is thrilled about their new direction and a sound that is fresh, unique, and most inspiring to date. The EP, produced by a returning friend and producer Don Gunn, is currently being mixed with a tentative date for mastering scheduled for the end of September and the official release date to follow shortly after. Stay tuned as we keep you posted on the EP's progress...

Hello everyone! Due to changes in lineup and sound, Scarlet Room has decided to make their latest EP "From the Shadow", a solely Internet release. You can now download all five songs and view the disc artwork right here at www.scarlet-room.com. Please stay tuned for Scarlet Room's next EP, "Welcome to the Circus", due out in fall 2006.

Hey eveyrone! We are excited to introduce the newest Scarlet Room member, the very talented Robert Reis! Robert has studied guitar at the Musician's Institute in Hollywood and, after gaining experience in the LA music scene, he has moved back to Seattle to further his education. Now, Robert will be lending his skills to the appreciative gang in Scarlet Room! Our first show with Robert will be March 10th in Bellingham at the Rogue Hero. If you are not able to make it out to the lovely city of Bellingham, be sure to check us out at the Rainbow in Seattle! Sincerely, Scarlet Room kids.

01.23.06 EP Update, show in Fremont!
Hello everyone! Just wanted to give you all a quick update on what's happening with SR this month. We've sucessfully completed the recording of our upcoming EP "From the Shadow". It currently thrives in the hard drive of our sound engineer and producer Don Gunn, who's been working dilligently to bring the songs to life through careful mixing and polishing. The songs will be posted online for everyone's pleasure upon completion!
We will also be playing our very FIRST SHOW IN TWO MONTHS THIS FRIDAY the 27th at the HIGH DIVE in Fremont. The show is a CD release party for a band Cast of Characters and a chance for us to perform some fresh, never before heard material. The show starts at 9:30 and it's 21+.
