Well, if you haven't guessed
already, the site's closed up. It was a lot of fun the past couple
years, and I'm sorry I never got it going this year. I actually
considered working on SRDL2003 today. Since marching season is
over, though, and it looks like we'll have a concert percussion
ensemble in the Spring instead of a true drumline, I don't think
there's much reason to at this point.

>> Now, as a salute
to my "Back in the Day," here's a look at the layouts
from the past years of the site. There was a big improvement
planned for this year... did you like the banner as you came
in?

| Ah, here's the site's original form, from 2001.
Actually, I didn't have much to say, hence the tiny window. The
site opened into a small window and had bascially 2 graphics,
used in various ways. What would now fall under "Fun Stuff"
was no more than a few "Drumline Vs." features... Some
updates also did not sound very nice, looking back, which I feel
sorry for. |
And here's the spiffy 2002 layout... pretty slick
and simple. I almost would have continued using it, but I decided
to keep up the evolution, if I had kept the site going. It used
new graphics, html bars, and added a photo album and the forum...
the forum didn't quite work. A "Lil' Paul Says..."
section was going to be added, but plans were dropped after Lil'
Paul's arrest late last year. |
Oh, the memories. <<

Now now, don't be sad... with
any luck, this isn't the end of the Official Scarlet Regiment
Drumline Site. Just because I'm a lazy punk senior doesn't mean
the new folks can't pick up the slack. If any of you guys feel
like working on this, just talk to me or Travis and I'll get
you hooked up with the password and stuff.
So that's about it. Thank you
for supporting the drumline. Now, click
here, and head on over to the band site... drop us a line
in the forum or the guestbook.
Have a spiffy day.
