     W. D. JONES, farmer, Sec. 27; P. O. Hazel Green; owns 77 acres of 
land, valued at $50 per acre; born in Westmoreland Co., Penn., in 1830;
came to Wisconsin in 1854, and settled in Hazel Green; located on his present 
farm in 1877.  Married Elizabeth MAYO, a native of Vermont; they have one 
child by adoption---Sarah E.  Mr. JONES has been a member of the Legislature
one term, and Chairman of the Board of Supervisors one term.  Are members of the
Congregational Church.
