Compared to the Western European countries, Romanian authorities have allocated much less funds and attention to historical sites. This regrettable fact has brought, paradoxically, an advantage to history lovers: most traces of civilisation, hundreds of years old, are barely touched by modern civilisation!
They still exist in their original shape, without reconstruction or modifications, quiet witnesses of a thrilling past. Join our historical tours and "beam up" to the past!

Option 1:	Takes you to the "seven citadels" of Transylvania, founded by German immigrants 800 years ago.
Option 2:	Goes to the far North, in the spectacular land of Bucovina, to see the spectacular painted monasteries, the last witnesses of the glorious times of Medieval Prince Stephen the Great
Option 3:	Dobrogea is the geologically oldest territory in Europe and was the first Roman conquest of today's Romania, 2000 years ago. Wallachia fought heavy battles for independence for 400 years against the Ottoman empire. Visit the untouched traces of those glorious times.
Option 4:	The Western part of Romania has always been a mixture of civilisation and tradition. Banat, Crisana and Maramures are 3 historical provinces that have a lot to tell about their eventful past.
