Ottawa County uses the EDACS or GE/Ericsson system for their trunking system. The only scanner that I know of that follows this type of system is the Radio Shack �Dual Trunking� scanner. The Uniden trunking scanner that I bought DOES NOT follow the EDACS trunking system. The new Radio Shack Pro-93 scanner I just bought follows the EDACS system in Ottawa County very well.
EDACS systems require that you program the below codes in order. So to program the Ottawa county frequencies below you will have to program them from 1 to 5 in your scanners channels. Refer to your scanner�s manual for exact instructions for programming the trunking frequencies in order.
If you have the Radio Shack Pro-93 scanner, you need to start programming from channel 01 instead of channel 00 in order for it to work properly.

To the best of my knowledge, these are the talk group numbers. The numbers should be displayed on your scanner�s display when it stops on a trunk transmission. The number identifies who is talking.
