Sites of Appias
The cliffs on the sea near Mena'Mizraq are the only ones of their kind on the Island of Appias.  The remnants of Valanian forts which have survived through the ages can still be seen jutting from the cliffs.

The scandia-famous Mustarab hotel, located in Mena'Mizraq, Appias, was and remains and engineering marvel.  Its construction was funded mostly in part by Saraphian Iudeans who had made their fortunes in the oil industry.  The price to stay for just one night is about 15,ooo Christianan Crowns which of course limits the guest list to the most elite personages of Scandia.

The west-coast city of Tal Afifa is one of the most modern cities of Appias.  It grew up around the ancient port of Yaffa.  Tal Afifa's population has sky-rocketed in the last eighty years due to major trading industry profits and oil industry profits.  The most recent city census reveal a population of 349,320 inhabitants.
