KEEPER LEAGUE RULES

1.0 - The league will be split into 10 NL teams & 10 AL teams.
1.1 - Each league will be split into 2 Divisions.
1.2 - The AL will have the East and West Divisions.
1.3 - The NL will have the North and South Divisions.
2.0 - The original drafts will be run starting February 1st at 9am PST.
2.1 - The drafts will be run at The Lounge. http://groups.msn.com/TheLoungeClubhouse/messages.msnw
2.2 - The NL draft will be run by STONEUS. The AL draft will be run by SCACER.
2.3 - Obviously you can only draft players who are currently in your league.
2.4 - You can only draft players who are in the Yahoo System from the start of the draft.
2.5 - If you have questions about a player, please consult SCACER or STONEUS.
2.6 - You will have 4 hours to make your pick. Timing begins at 9am PST and ends at 9pm PST. Between 9pm and 9am, there is no timer, but you can still pick.
2.7 - If you cannot make your pick in time, email the OPPOSITE LEAGUE commissioner ahead of time, with enough players in your list compared to how many draft picks are ahead of you. (ie. AL owners email picks to Stoney, NL owners email picks to Scacer).
3.0 - In the 3rd week of March, we will hold a 4 round prospect draft.
3.1 - Again, there will be a seperate draft for the AL & NL.
3.2 - The drafts will be run at The Lounge. http://groups.msn.com/TheLoungeClubhouse/messages.msnw
3.3 - Again, you can only draft players who are the property of a team in your league.
3.4 - This means the player must be signed to a contract by a team in your league.
3.5 - If you have any questions about a player, please consult SCACER or STONEUS.
4.0 - This section will bring to light what happens when a player switches leagues.
4.1 - If a player(s) switches from the AL to NL (or vice-versa) in real life, the owner who has that player(s) may keep that player(s) until the prospect draft of next season.
4.2 - If one or more of your players ends up in this situation, you have 3 options.
4.3 - A) You may trade your player(s) to someone in the opposite league for a player(s) on their team who have also switched leagues.
4.4 - B) You may trade your player(s) to someone in the opposite league for a draft pick(s).
4.5 - C) If you cannot come to any of these agreements, you must drop the player the day before the next prospect draft.
4.6 - D) You cannot, by any means, trade a player who has switched to the opposite league to someone in your own league during the offseason, as this player needs to find his way to the other league or be dropped before next season's prospect draft. We do not reward stupidity!
