History:
This will be Derek's 3rd season with the Tribe. He had a breakout season last year in which he established himself as the team's starting second baseman. Derek is also returning from a successful college season at Bismarck State College in North Dakota under Coach Len Stanley. Derek led the team in hits, OBP, and doubles.. Derek will round-off the lineup and should provide some excitement on the basepaths.
