Ionized Gas Balloon

The Ionized Gas Balloon would operate on the principle that a gas molecule as it is ionized should repel itself from other ionized gas molecules more strongly than if they are not ionized. This will create a pressure to expand it's space and increase the buoyancy of the balloon similar to the way hot air balloons do it. We need a light gas and that is easily ionizable,

How About Hydrogen

I do not think ionized Hydrogen is flamable?
Unlike hot air balloons the balloon would be closed and the buoyancy of the ballon would be voltage controllable by means of electrodes in the inside surface of the balloon.

Gas pressure as a function of ionization seems to be a area nobody has written about. PV=nRT is the Charles and Gay-Lussac ideal gas law. I imagine that if ionization is included the ideal gas law would be PV=nRT Ғ(E) where Ғ is a function of E, the voltage of ionization. It would take testing to see how feasible the idea is.
