Firesale was a very funny movie that mysteriously disappeared after it stopped playing in the movie houses in 1977. The preview for the movie had Dom DeLouise saying if yu could only see one movie ... then he is rudely interupted by a couple of guys walking past him with a ladder.
The reason for it s disappearance is a mystery to me but it probably involved a dispute btw. 20th Century Fox and other parties. In about 1998 I saw where the Fox Family Channel was going to broadcast the show. I was set to video tape it. The time came and there was a little teaser about Firesale coming up next. Then it went to commercials, and promos, and other fillers. This went on for about a half an hour before they said some other show was coming on next not Firesale. No explanation was given as to why they didn t show it and I have never seen anything like that debacle on Network TV in recent years
