I finally put down a whopping dollar to rent SLEEPAWAY CAMP 3:Teenage Wasteland.I wasted my dollar. As in SLEEPAWAY CAMP 2:Unhappy Campers,this second and more sh*tty sequel boasts in the title sequence that it was "Based on an original idea by Robert Hiltzik". I regret to say that these two sequels put that idea to shame. One wonders how such crap was even funded.It's wretched. Angela returns to Camp Rolling Hills, now named Camp New Horizons, disguised as a camper- coincidently a camper she kills-to continue her killing spree she started at Camp Arawak. The new and improved Camp Rolling Hills is run by a pair of lazy, ignorant slobs who have recruited a bunch of kids, both from upper class and lower class homes,to start an "experiment in sharing". Angela makes her usual rounds and kills everyone. Along the way there are some references to the previous happenings that occured at Camp Arawak, and Camp Rolling Hills. This sequel is pointless,and lame.It makes "Unhappy Campers" look good.
