Goofs
  • While water-skiing, Delores appears to be sporting a helmet in the far-away shots. But in close-ups, she is without a helmet.
  • Frank the cop has a real mustache when he visits Camp Arawak for the first time, but at the end of the movie his mustache is fake. Note * In reality, the actor had shaved thinking his gig was over. When he was called in to do another scene, they made him wear the fake stache
  • When the fight at the canteen between Kenny and Ricky erupts, Ricky's cowboy hat is pushed off his head. A camper then kicks it away from the group of kids fighting. But in the close up the hat reappears from where it was kicked.

In some editions of SLEEPAWAY CAMP, the red tube top Felissa Rose is wearing can be seen, as well as Meg's tube top in the shower scene

  • At the end of the movie when counselor Marie finds a dead body, she screams "It's Meg!". But she emerges from the cabin Judy was in, not Meg. Meg was in the empty cabin next door. (At least I think).
  • When young Angela and Peter are spying on their Father, actress Colette Lee Corcoran looks right into the camera at us.
  • During the final shot; Angela holds a knife in one scene and in the other scene, she is holding the hatchet...
  • When Paul and Judy are kissing in the woods, behind then you can clearly see Felissa Rose on bended knee waiting for her cue to rise, as if she just appears out of thin air. Look closely and you see half of her face behind their legs. In the older copies this is not as clear to see. Her dark hair is the only visible thing in the older copies.
