Release Date: August 22 2002 Company: Anchor Bay Entertainment the Scoop: Anchor Bay, who previously released the original Sleepaway Camp on DVD and VHS, also put out a box set. The packaging resembles a medical kit and is appropriately called, "SURVIVAL KIT" which originally bore the red cross logo. Not soon after, The Amercian Red Cross forced Anchor Bay to recall the sets featuring the copyrighted symbol resulting in a reissue with diffrent artwork. The box set includes the original Sleepaway Camp DVD, which was previously released as mentioned before, Sleepaway Camp 2: Unhappy Campers, Sleepaway Camp 3: Teenage Wasteland, and a special bonus disc featuring the production footage for the unfinished Sleepaway Camp 4: The Survivor, which is only available at Best Buy. The set also comes with a 16 page booklet, with nothing more than retrospectives for each film. Each DVD has an insert with a replica of the original theatrical poster. Loaded with extras, and hidden goodies, and now a collector's item due to the red cross controversy, any fan would not be dissapointed with this set.
