APA Style Help

Books

One author

    In-text citation

         Last name, year, page number)

    Example

    Bibliography format:

          Author Last, First. (Year). Book Title in Italics. Location: Publisher.

    Example:

          Lowe, D. E. (1998). Summation of prion research for aspiring scientists. Provo, UT: Made-up Name Press.

Multiple authors

    In-text citation

          First citation:

                   (Last names separated by commas, year, page)

          All other citations

                    (First author's last name, et al., year, page)

    Examples:

          First citation:

                    (Wasserstein, Zappulla, Rosen, Gerstman and Rock, 1994, 407)

          All other citations:

                    (Wasserstein, et al., 1994, 407)

    Bibliography format:

          Name and initials, name and initials, (year). Title of book in italics. Place: Publisher.

    Example:

          Roeder, K., Howdeshell, J., Fulton, L., Lochhead, M., Craig, K., Peterson, R., et.al. (1967). Nerve cells and insect behavior. Cambridge, MA: Harvard University Press.

No Author/ Corporation
