Gackt
The quest for personal profile of any Malice Mizer member would be useless since they either are lying or remain descrete about it ^^;;

Murasaki on Gackt
Although Gackt is a bygone past of the band, any intorduction of Malice Mizer would seem incomplete if we do not mention him. Though himself not the first generation vocal of the band, he is with the band in its golden moments. Having the usual image as the prince, Gackt voice is strong and deep, but it can go really soft on demand as well. I especially like its ability to go real low and soft, without breaking, however, ang lingers on to another note. A good illustration of the strength of his voice would be "Syunikiss", while that for the softness, would be "aegen". Gackt's vocal skills seems to cross between normal pop style and the opera style, possibly due to his training in the classical field as a child. He writes all the lyrics when he's with the band. I would consider his style of lyrics as romantic. He often draws in classical tales on gods and godesses, fairies as backgraound, manipulating a magical fairy-tale like kind of romance in his songs, good examples being "le ciel" and "Madorigal". However, his interest in the Vampire and the morbid mind sometimes slips through into his lyrics as well, such as "Translvania", "s-conscious" and "illuminati", makes him sound kinda schophrenic to ne ^^;.
