| I have been born and brought up in the beautiful campus of IIT, Kharagpur. My father is a Professor of Mechanical Engineering at IIT, Kharagpur and my mother is a housewife. I did my first 6 years of schooling at St.Agnes Convent School,and the next 8 years in Kendriya Vidyalaya, IIT Kharagpur. |
| I am interested in Theoretical Computer Science and also in Mathematics and Physics. My interests are largely mathematical and have largely been shaped by Guha Sir, who was my math teacher during my formative years. Preparing for Mathematics Olympiads and attending the International Mathematics Olympiad training camp exposed me to the wonderful ideas of higher mathematics and made me passionate about the subject .When I opted for studying computer science at IIT Kharagpur I had only one interest in mind and that was in theory. |
