Present Position and Research Experience
Working as senior research fellow in Solid State Physics Department ( in collaboration with Polymer science Unit)of Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science on synthesis and characterisation of some novel nanomaterials under the guidence of Prof. Chitra Basu since March 2001.
Research Interest
Synthesis of nanostructured materials mainly emphasis on colloidal chemical aproach, Solvothermal aproach, solid state pyrolisis, Sol-gel technique, Glass nanocomposite.
Self assembly of nanostructure into different hierarchical structure by the templating action of differnt organic and inorganic compounds.

Functionalisation of carbonnanotubes (CNT), Carbonnantube composite materials.

Polymer nanocomposite, developing new properties by generating interaction of nanostructur with polymer matrics.

Developing organic�inorganic hybrid nanostructured devices for memory application, solar cell, rectifying circuit

Material characterization by XRD, FTIR, SEM, TEM, EDXA, DSC, DTA-TGA, DMA
