| Real Name: Marcus Alexander Bagwell Stage Name: Buff Bagwell, Fabian, The Handsome Stranger Date of Birth: January 10, 1970 Home Town: Marietta, Ga. Height: 6' 1" Weight: 240 lbs. Brief Bio: Bagwell began his career in 1990 performing under the name of Fabian with the All Star Wrestling in Georgia, capturing the Tag Team Belts with Chris Walker. Later moving to Global Wrestling where he worked as the "the Handsome Stranger." In 1992, bagwell moved to the WCW as a tag team specialist, teaming up initially with 2 Cold Scorpio. The pair eventually captured the WCW Tag Team championship, proving to be a popular team. After Scorpio left the organization, Bagwell won tag team gold again, teaming with the Patriot (under the name Stars and Stripes) and with Scotty Riggs (as the American Males.) Bagwell was one of the first to answer Hulk Hogans 1996 invitation to all WCW wrestlers to join the NWO ranks. Bagwell, made the transformation from the well-liked babyface to the strutting, arrogant southern heel. In 1998, Bagwell was temporarily paralyzed by a move executed by Rick Steiner. Early fears were that he might never walk again but with great determination and avid support from his family, friends and fans, Bagwell returned to the ring the following year In 2001, Buff Bagwell lined up in the new WCW, however was let go after some poor crowd pop in the early stagers of the WCW. Buff may be gone for now in the world of sports entertainment, however source close to Buff say he may be back.
