Indianapolis, Indiana
INDIANA   may be a long way from Nashville, and even farther from Texas, but "hoosier's" still enjoy the country life. Brown County is home of the Little Nashville Opry House with concerts all season from Marty Stuart to George Jones.

     Another Indiana event is the
Bill Monroe Bluegrass Festival which is the oldest, continuously running annual bluegrass festival in the world.

One of Indianapolis's country radio stations,
WFMS 95.5 FM has won noumerous CMA awards.

Indianapolis is home to one of the largest dance floors.
8 Seconds Saloon has a dance floor that is 124ft long and 37ft wide.  The building one housed a bowling alley.  8 Second Saloon also has a very impressive concert line up each year.

Free dance instruction can be found on Wednesday and Friday nights at
Stable's Nightclub on Indy's Southeast side.

     The
Rawhide Ranch in Nashville offers barn dances, hayrides, trail rides, horse rentals  and even overnight stall rental if you want to bring your own horse.
