On Feburary 25th 1943 George Harrison was born. He was born at 12 Arnold Grove, Wavtree, Liverpool. As a kid George went to Dovedale Primary school which was the same school John Lennon was going to. In 1954 George went to Liverpool instutute, Paul McCartney was goin to the same schol as well.
Once he got into Liverpool instutute George started loosing interest in school work. Not long after that he got involved in somthing new, playing the guitar. By this time the quarry men were a band. Paul McCartney knew George from school. After Paul was invited in the band. Awile after Paul came up to George and asked him to be in the band. Shortly after that he joined.
Now the beatless were going to Hamburg for little shows and trying to get record labels. One time when the beatles went to Hamburg they had to go back to liverpool beasue George was under age.
In 1963 the beatles were starting to get big. But they wer'nt big in America. But in 1964 was the start of beatlemania. In the Beatles, George wrote and composed alot of songs but not as near as much as Lennon or McCartney.
Near the end of the beatles George at one time quit because he was fed up with being a beatle and he thought he could be perfectly fine on his own. But the beatles rang him up and said they were sorry and they were together once again. Not long after they broke up in 1970.
After they broke up George continued on with a solo career. He also hepled John with his album Imagine. Also he joined a band called the travilling willberrys.
George was married twice, to Patty and Olivia. On December 30th 1999 George was stabbed in the chest by a fan. But he survived! And now hes 57!!
