Little Bitch-This was the first betta that we purchased he is a wonderfuly colored Turquoise bodied fish with a blue and fading to blue tail, we got him in early November of 1999 and he has been one of the more agressive fish that we've had.
Baby Blue-The name of this fish is sort of a misnomer. He was small when we bought him, however this is an old fish possibly over a year old, he started as a beautiful blue green fish, and as time went by he became more and more green he is now a solid Turqoise, we got him in late November of 1999.
Baton Rouge-As the name implies this is our solid red betta he is fairly young but he is large for his age, purchased in Early December of 1999 he quickly became favorite of ours through all his behavior, he is the most agressive betta that we have, willing to flare his gills at any fish plaved in front of him, he tail at the end has a slight linging of Black.
Mid-Knight (Pronounced "k-night")-This fish is one of the more uniquely colored fish, he is the deepest shade of blue, almost a navy colored, He was purchased in Early January this year. He is a more passive fish, he mainly spends most of his time hugging the bottom of his jar or hiding in the foilage of the plant that is also in his jar.
Lit'l One-This fish started out small but Damn he grew quick, he is a steel blue male with traces of gray and purple in him bought in Early Febuary 2000 he is one of the more doting fish, fighting when he has too otherwise he will quietly sit in his tank and stare at his surondings.
Sea-Dra- This is perhaps the most odly colored fish that we have, he is the same color as a bruise all the way through with just hints of black around the edges of his tail, despite his apperance, we both belive that he will make the best father out of all the bettas that we have, he is seen making great big bubblenests when placed near a female.
Peppermint-One of the newest editions to the group peppermint is a light green betta with little blue and black streaks through his tail. He is most agressive, and will flare for no reason at all, he is also an attention loving fish, at the prospect of food he will litteraly jump out of the tank to reach it.
Loki-One of the first fish that we got from a real breeder (The rest we found at numerous pet shops) He is red with traces of green all over his body, a marble type betta. He is named after the Norse God of Mischief because his colors match those of the god of the same name.
Starmine- Another fish that we got from a breeder he is a brilliant purple and blue cambadion male. Often times in his tank he will see bits of food lodged in between the marbles and will try as hard as he can in order to get to the food, Even if it involoves severe head trauma.
The Runt- This is another fish that we obtained through a breeder it is named because of what it is the "Runt of the litter) He too is a blue and purple fish that is way smaller than the other fish that we have, but if time is any judge will will grow to a huge size in time.
Lu-Ann & Lu-Sing- Two females that we got ferom a breeder that arenicknamed the "Twins" because of their remarkable similarity to each otherthey are both red and purple females and the only way to tell one appart from the other is too look at their bodies Lu-Sing has vertical black stripes commong from her body these fish along with their sister Snot-Pot bring new meaning to the term sibling rivalrly they will constantly snap and flare at each other in their condo each trying to prove that they are the best.
Snot-Pot- A fish named for her personality she is the sister of Lu-Ann and Lu-Sing she howver is differenlty colored than her sisters she is a blue green over her body with red orange and purple in her tail, she is mainly the peace keeper in the condo she is placed between the twins. Right now we are trying to spawn this fish with Sea-Dra.
Fallen Angel- This is another male that we bought from a pet store, thinkiing he was an opaque betta which was wrong he is a wonderfully yellow colored fish with black speckels alng his body, at fist he was very passive and wouldn't flare at the other males, but now he is full of aggresion and we also hope to spawn him soon as well although their are dobuts that he might be too old for this. We have yet to see him bulid a bubble nest.
