CHAPTER FOUR
As Alicia sat down on her couch getting ready to watch TV all she could think of was Nick, as usual. It felt so good to see him again, but it also hurt. She wished that she could just go back in time and just tell him how she felt. She wanted that so desperately.
Alicia turned the TV onto Much Music only to find that they were playing Save Me by Hanson. Alicia completely understood the song. She wanted Nick to save her. To take her out of this depression she had slipped into. But knowing that it was too late for her. She was wrong not to say those three words. And she wondered everyday if it was to late for her to have the man she loved back once again.
Alicia couldn�t stand being alone anymore. She wanted not to be alone anymore. Surprisingly her phone rang.
�Hello� Alicia answered in a dull and dreary voice.
�Hey Licia, how you doing?� Asked her friend Mercedes.
�I could be better. I was in for a little surprise today. Nick was at the charity event. We talked a little bit.�
�Really about what gimmie the dish!� Mercedes said starting to get excited in hopes that her best friend didn�t give up what could have been her only shot on getting back the man she loved.
�Just about how we were doing. That was it pretty much. Nothing really big or important.� Alicia said sounding a little disappointed.
�Well I�m not going to lecture you on anything. I just called to see how the performance went and to see if you want to come out to the club with the gang.� Mercedes said hoping that Alicia would say yes. She really needed to get out and start moving on from Nick.
�Sure I�ll come out but for only a little bit. I want to get some rest tonight. It�s been a pretty long day.�
�Ok be ready by 9 we will come swing around your place to pick you up.�
�Ok see ya later Mer� Alicia said sounding a little more upbeat than before.
�Cya later Licia� Mercedes said with both of them hanging up the phones.
*LATER THAT NIGHT*
As all the girls walked into Pop City they walked over to the bar and ordered some drinks, while Alicia walked over to an empty table to sit down and wait for the others. She wasn�t in any mood to drink she just wanted to get out of her house. It was better to go to Pop City and not be alone than sit at home feeling sorry for herself and being alone.
As the rest of the girls came up to Alicia to sit down �Girl Talk� by TLC had came on over the speakers. Mercedes grabbed Alicia�s hand and dragged her out onto the dance floor. All the girls started to go crazy and danced. Especially Alicia. She was having so much fun. She couldn�t remember when the last time she had this much fun. She was so caught up in the music that she never noticed that Nick and his three buddies Mike, Tony and Rob.
As the song ended Dirrty started to play. Once again the girls started to dance all wild but Alicia was startled when she felt a hand on her hip. She turned around only to see Nick.
