It was January 18th. One of Alicia's attempts to keep busy was to perform for local charity events in her hometown of Ruskin. And one of those performances was today. Alicia slowly woke up not wanting to get up from her wonderful dream of the man she had lost. Everyday she had grew more and more depressed. She missed him so much that it was hurting. She grabbed some clothes and then hopped into the shower. Once she was dressed she went downstairs to find something to eat, the only thing was that nothing was appealing to her. She shut the fridge door and just sat at the table staring into space. Not noticing what time it was she looked up at the clock only to realize that she was running late at getting to the TV studio. She ran out to her car and drove as fast as she possibly could to get to the studio. As she walked in people surrounded her trying to get her ready in time for her performance.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, I'd like to introduce a wonderful talent straight out of Ruskin Alicia Wilkons." The announcer screamed into the mic as everyone started to clap.
Alicia was growing more and more nervous as she was reaching the stage. Finally she was standing in the middle and grabbed onto her mic.
"Hey everyone how are you all doing today?" she said into the mic. Only to hear a bunch of screams of yay's.
"That's great. Well this song that I'm about to sing for you all is something that I wrote a few months ago. It�s about a relationship I had with a guy that I loved very dearly. But unfortunately I was stupid enough to just let him walk away. So here it goes."
Alicia took a deep breath and started singing.

It wasn't even the middle of the song and Alicia started to feel like she was going to cry but she held it in and tried to finish the song.

Alicia started to think of all the great times that they had. She thought that they would have last forever but now she thought she was so stupid to believe that 'Nothing lasts forever'.

Alicia could think of all the times that they went to New York together. They were so happy. Walking down the street holding hands, drinking coffee, just enjoying each other. Now whenever she went to New York for jobs she would do all she would see were them together. She'd just break down and cry. She wanted him back so bad. She wanted him. She needed him.

By the time the song was over Alicia was in tears. The audience however didn't notice. They thought she was wonderful. She had put her heart and soul into every word she had sang. That made her feel better but it didn't fill in the void in her heart that she wanted to be filled so bad.
As Alicia was walking off stage she looked up to see the guy she had loved for so long but never admitted it. Which is why she had lost him. As she looked up she froze as time had stood still. 'He hasn't changed a bit'. Alicia thought to herself.
"Hey" He said as he looked down this situation was a bit awkward for them. They hadn�t' seen each other since that horrid night.
