Day 1

- Transfer from hotel to wharf for Kapit by high speed Express boat at about 0700 hours.

- Arrive Kapit at about 1030 hours and proceed to the Resident Office to apply for permit^#.

- Lunch at a Kapit local restaurant.

- After lunch Kapit town sightseeing include The Native Market.

- Dinner at a Kapit local restaurant.

- Overnight at a local hotel. (Lunch and dinner provided)

Day 2

- Breakfast. After breakfast depart Kapit by Express boat for Miramar Logpond, a timber camp at Balleh River.

- Travel overland by landcruiser on logging tracks.

- Snacks/Lunch at the side of logging tracks at Sungai Entulu.

- Travel overland by land cruiser on logging tracks again for Sungai Betenu at upper Balui River.

- Travel up Balui River by longboat to Long Bulan, a Kenyah tribe Longhouse for overnight.

- Local tour (sightseeing) around the village before dinner.

- Evening cultural dance entertained by the native.

- Overnight at Kenyah Longhouse. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner provided)

Day 3

- After breakfast, travel up river by longboat to Sungai Betu / Sungai Lesong for jungle trekking and camping

- Camping at the side of the Balui River.

- Camping includes jungle trekking,, hunting, birds watching, fishing and swimming depends on the choice.

- Overnight in the camp. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner provided)

Day 4

- Back to the longhouse and travel by longboat to Sungai Betenu.

- Travel overland by landcruiser to Penan settlement (Long Unai).

- Overnight with the Penans in their village (Jungle dwelling).

Day 5

- Travel by longboat on the Balui River further into the interior.

- Overnight in the camp. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner provided.)

Day 6

- Jungle trekking with the Penans in the forest. (Jungle trekking includes birds watching and hunting with the Penans using spears, blowpipes and hunting dogs.)

- Overnight in the camp. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner provided.)

Day 7

- River adventure (The journey upriver is beautiful, breath taking and thrill too. A longboat is an experience of it’s own; experience skillful longboat driver manoeuvering over sharp rocks and flat flowing river current). This includes fishing and swimming.

- Back to Penan Village.

- Overnight in the camp. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner provided).

Day 8

- Travel overland by land cruiser to Putai Logpond at Balleh River.

- Take express boat to Kapit town.

- Overnight at a local hotel. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner provided)

Day 9

- Breakfast.

- After breakfast by express boat to Sibu. Transfer from Sibu wharf to airport to your next destination. (Breakfast provided)
