A Milwaukee police officer for over five years, Mike loves getting involved with his German culture. He is a member of a local German cultural club, D'Lustig'n Wendlstoana, centered out of Glendale's Bavarian Inn. He also loves history, and participates in World War II education by helping organize living history displays and performing in public reenacting events. Mike is well travelled, and looks forward to showing Emily more of the world in coming days. An on-duty injury sustained Dec 28, 07, has thrown a wrench into the works, but dauntless, Mike continues to enjoy life and get to know Emily even better.
For some time, Emily has worked in an office setting, but she is now employed at the Wauwatosa Spice House. Only working part-time, she is enjoying having some time free to put into wedding planning and getting in shape with much help and motivation from Mike! She loves creative cooking, writing, and graphic design, playing her newly-acquired accordion and more. Mike has introduced Emily to the German club and his reenacting unit, in which she is now active. Both Emily and Michael have a love and appreciation for the arts, and enjoy musical and theatrical events together as well as nature walks every day.

Coming closer and closer to the big day in June, Emily and Mike are looking forward to family life, and hope to purchase a house somewhere in the Milwaukee area within a year.
