| Playdough Mix in medium pot: 1 cup of white flour 1/4 cup of salt 2tbs. cream of tarter Combine and add: 1 cup of water 2tsp food coloring 1tbs oil Cook over medium heat and stir for about 3-5min. When it forms a ball in middle of pot, turn out and knead on lightly floured board. May add a package of Kool-Aid for color and scent. Be sure to store in an airtight container! | Rainbow Crayons Remove the paper from old broken crayons. Place crayons in a muffin tin. Put in a 300 degree oven until colors stick together, but not melted completely. When slightly cooled, place in freezer unilt they can be removed easily. Recipe courtesy of ECFE Class |

| Mail Box Fun Items Needed: Empty laundry detergent box, White paper Glue Scissors Crayons or markers To Make: Take white paper and glue onto box. Use crayons or markers to make a design and print "Mail Box" somewheres on the box. Take your scissors and cut a slit on the top of the box. Save all your "junk" mail for your child and let them use it to deliver the mail to the new "mailbox" |

| KoolAid Canister Gardens: Items Needed: Empty KoolAid Canister (20 oz) Acrylic paints and stickers Dirt seeds of some sort or small plants Take can cut the Kool Aid canister down to the last indent. Poke small holes in the bottom for drainage. You can paint designs on this canister with the acrylic paints or use stickers to decorate. Fill with dirt once decorations are dry. Add seeds or small plants to dirt. Watch your seeds and plants grow! Fun to give as a gift to teachers, grandparents, caregivers and the such from your little one! |

| Colored Macaroni or Rice 1tsp. rubbing alcohol 6-8 squirts of food coloring Put macaroni or rice in jar with lid and shake. Pour onto newspaper and let air dry over night. Great for making necklaces or pouring and scooping! Ripe courtesy of ECFE Class |

| Puppy Chow 1 box of Rice Chex cereal 1 package of chocolate chips 1/2 cup of peanut butter 1 stick of butter 1 capful of vanilla powder sugar gorcery bag Mix the chocolate chips, peanut butter, butter and vanilla all in a suace pan on the stove top until melted through. Pour into a bowl with the cereal and mix together. Once the cereal is coated, pour into the grocery bag and dump in some of the sugar and shake it to coat the chocolatey chex mix well. Store in an airtight container. **WARNING!!!! Does contain peanut butter and not intended for those children with peanut allergies. Can be broken up into smaller pieces for those too little to eat a whole piece. |

| Great Trail Mix 1 package of raisens 1 small jar of roasted peanuts 1 8oz bag of M&M's 1/2 box of Grapenut O's Mix all of this together in a large dish and serve. **WARNING!!! Not intended for those children who aren't old enough to eat the above items or with peanut allergies. |

| REDUCED FAT CHOCOALTE FUDGE 3 cups reduced fat semi-sweet chocolate chips 1-14oz can of fat free sweetened condensed milk, NOT evaporated milk Dash of salt 1 1/2 tsp vanilla In heavy saucepan, over low heat, melt chips with condensed milk and salt. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla. Spread evenly into foil-lined 8 or 9 inch square pan. Chill 2hrs or until firm. Turn fudge onto cutting board; peel off foil and cut into squares. Store loosely covered at room temp. Calories= 160 Fat= 6g 33% less than regular recipe!!! Thanks Kathy Sykora for this recipe!!! |
