All this pain
And nothing that I feel can be done
I cry it out
I try to talk
I pray and ask for guidance
I ask God to take it all
But it still lingers
I feel like nothing works
Like all of this pain is nothing
If it�s nothing
Then why does it hurt?
Am I not trying hard enough?
Am I trying too hard?
What am I doing wrong?
I�ll never understand
I�ll never really know
I suppose I�ll just keep going
Keep doing what I�m doing
Keep on until something happens
I know other people can�t really help
But I wish it were easier
Easier to talk to God then to others
He�s the perfect one
It�s ok to talk to others
But it�s not ok to put them before God
Lord, help me grow in You
Help me yearn more for You
I want to know You more
So much more then anything
For You are my God
You created me in Your image
Help me Lord
I long for You
You are all I seek
Your love is more
Than any words can describe
All I want to do
Is seek Your face
Your beauty
For You are the only one that matters
Please lift me up
Higher then the mountains
I seek Your Holy face

Through many hardships
Every trial and tribulation
It�s really hard to look past it all
And look to God for guidance
We want to face our troubles
All by ourselves with no one to help
That�s when we find ourselves
Digging a deeper hole
Then the first one we started with
It takes a lot of guts
To face our problems
To tell ourselves
That we can�t do it alone
That we need God to help us
And each other to help push us along
Once we admit that we aren�t perfect
And that we need help
God puts blessings in our lives
To show how much He loves us
Sometimes we end up looking
Past the small blessings
To see the big picture
Many times we miss it all
Because of how small things are
So when we get confused
From not seeing what�s going on
Take a big step back
And don�t look at the big
But look at the things that are small
Praise God for every flower
And ever tree that can be seen
Praise Him for every blade of grass
And hard working ants
For He created them just for you
Every star in the sky
That you can see at night
God made them special for you
So when we�re dealing
With hardships and pain
Trust in God
For He WILL bring you through it
Praise Him for these bad times
Because it is the perfect time
To get your mind off the big picture
And look at the small things
