I'M HOME!!!! 9/29/07

I'M SO HAPPY! At last, I'm home again! It's so weird to see nothing but the walls and bare floors, but it's still my house. Last night we arrived, had Chinese food, and stayed up till about ten or eleven. It wasn't much of a dramatic night, but, I tell ya, drama HAS NOT been scarce. Yami has been giving us incredible intensity, and I've been so sick at the fact that I can't access the blog to tell you about it! But now that I'm here, I can blab my head off...

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1. A NEW REASON TO BE AFRAID OF THE DARK

Ever since we moved, Yami has been incredibly bloodthirsty, and even accepts the fact that he, is inhuman now. Each night, his saliva gets unswallowably thick, which signals his time to "feed". So, he takes a bite out of whoever might be near at the present time.

At first, it was no big deal, but now, it's serious. Dark Necrofear and Ikasu are worried about their best friend, and Keyki is starting to get angry with Yami. My poor coolie takes insanity to a whole new level! When he's done with a crisis, a new one starts!

2. DARK SURGERY

This crisis was one of the most dramatic I've ever seen. You know how Syphane and Yami don't get along so well, right? Well, I guess they had some bonding time and found that they can be friends after all... and that's not nessicarily a good thing, either. It turns out that Syphane wanted an heir, and he chose Yami to take his place. And, since Yami's powers aren't good enough for the king of darkness, Syphane gave him "Dark Surgery" to make sure he became what a king should be.

What is Dark Surgery, you ask? It's Syphane's way of giving his power to the person of his choice, and often going overboard with it. Sure enough, he did go overboard with Yami--by giving him every ounce of power he had. That spoiled Yami, and made my coolie think he could feast on the power of any Cyberu, so that's exactly what he did.

After taking away Dark Necrofear, Ashuri, and Ikasu's strength, he truly was the darkness... and he proved it by torturing every single Cyberu in his own unique way. He even ditched his old buddies because of this personality-change. It was a pretty sad sight to see.

But in the end, the light prevailed. With the help of power-sucking Sheenai, we were able to extract every bit of dark enegry Yami possessed, and then some (a little too much). Once Sheenai was done eating, then using the men's room, Yami started expressing his rage... and his eyes spat flames!

"How dare you leave me with nothing! How dare you! That was my power! You can't just take it away from me! Give it back, you monsters! GIVE BACK MY POWER!!" But his screams were ignored. Eventually, he calmed down, and bacame more upset than angry. "I have nothing. You took it all away from me..."

Poor Yami was so devastated that he had to spend a while in the Shadow Realm alone to think things over. When he came back, Keyki and I explained why we did what we did, and how we were worried we'd never be able to see our friend again. He then realized that we all still cared deeply about him, so the rest of the night was spent doing just that.

3. WHY DOES EVERYONE WANT TO BE THE DARKNESS!?

Yami eventually got back on track after his little dark spell, and ended up noticing that even without Syphane's powers, he was still the darkness, and nothing could change that... well, nothing except Ashuri, that is.

Ashuri decided that being a darkangel wasn't enough. He wanted to go all the way and try to become the darkness. So, he got Dark Surgery, ripped Yami's trench coat right off of him, threw him down into town (where it was raining hard and COLD), and took Dark Necrofear away from her "Whitey", brainwashing her into loving him more than she did Yami. How brutal can you get!?

No matter how cruel it was, it happened, and when Yami came back up from town to aquire a new coat, Ashuri started breaking his bones like they were toothpicks, starting with both arms. When almost every bone was broken, however, he decided that he couldn't handle this power, and left Yami alone.

But that wasn't the end of it. Beku actually has a split-personality, and that alter ego made Ashuri go darkness again. This time, it ended up being, not Ashuri, but Sabaku no Gaara using Syphane's powers, and he was stopped by Ryou, who told him he wanted to make friends with the misunderstood boy.

The last "darkness" was a small boy no older than eleven, who claimed he was the one who killed Yami when Malik trapped himself in the freezer. And, instead of stopping at the spine like Ashuri, the boy destroyed Yami's organs, ripped out his vocal chords, and took the bones out of his body. Yami had to go to Beku's father to be examined, and Mr. Talekiya predicted that he could heal Yami, but not completely restore him--his legs would never work again.

At first, Yami was completely destroyed, but after Malik replaced his bones with metal ones, my coolie was as good as new. Plus, as bonus points, that brat couldn't break his bones due to their tensity. Maybe breaking his bones was all for the best in the end!

4. THE MINOR THINGS

- We got to see DN's past last night

- Malik and Yami are friends again

- Ryou, Beku, and Hikari no Malik made a band called the White Roses

- Beku can sing What I Like About You VERY well.

- Yami has grown respect for Keyki's Soup Gaara.
