Tonight, I made a cool dinosaur quiz. It's practically impossible to get a 100% without guessing. These dino names are so hard to pronouce. JHIGBDSJGAUSDSHGISGUYosaurus. Instead of going on about boring ol' me, we have more Cyberu news. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- First off, Daycee got super-overweight because she didn't have her baby. Gabriel and Yami, acting like jerks, teased her until Rakikai Jr. had enough, and transformed into a sixteen-year-old--therefore, giving up his body--and allowed his little sister, Mark, transfer her data into his old body, and increase her own age. That left a baby body up for grabs. Daycee quickly had her child, whose name was never truly decided. Why, you ask? Because the baby was crazy. It attacked Gabriel like an animal when it first saw her. Even when Yami Rakikai protected the new mother, it hardly made any difference. At last, the baby was killed by Mark's venomous snakes, and Daycee got back to living her normal life. But that wasn't the end of it. After Yuroku and Rakikai had left to go and spy on some teenaged girls, Gabriel and Yami were left alone. They did another data transfer, and ended up having another baby girl, who they named Tyler. She and Mark became good friends right away. Tyler could communicate with venomous worms, so the worms and snakes fought for a while. There was no real victor. After a while of just hanging out, Yami went to the bar--for the fourth time--and Gabriel was left alone with Daycee and Diana, her best friends. For some reason, the girls got on the subject of Yami's drinking problem. Almost immediately, Daycee asked, "Gabriel, does Yami abuse you?" The answer was yes. That led to another discussion about the drunken thief. "You shouldn't have renewed your relationship," came up a lot. So did, "He needs to find out how to control his drinking problem." Last, but not least, "Just stop dating him," was said. Eventually, Yami arrived home, barely able to walk straight once again. "Yami," Gabriel said. That was it. "Yami..." She was obviously about to cry. Diana brought up the subject that Gabriel wanted to sue him for custody of the children, though Yami's response was, "Who is Sue?" Yeah, he was REALLY drunk. Like--ProtoMan's Mom drunk. Once he was back from Yami Bakura Land, our evil spirit friend mumbled under his breath, "Gabriel, I'm so sorry." And he fainted. In fact, he was out for hours, and in that time, all the Cyberu girls got their hair styled. When he woke up, Gabriel took him onto the front porch for a romantic evening. "Yami, I love you," she said. "I love you so much!" They kissed quite a bit. I'm sorry... I love you... over and over. Yami asked various questions, like: "Why is it colder at night?", "Why do people sleep?", and "Am I a monster?" Once the two walked inside, they kissed once more, and fell asleep. WHOA. OUR CYBERUS ARE GETTING A BIT SERIOUS. Hey, Let's Give Them Something to Talk About... How about Cy-ber-UUUS? Ha ha ha!! I'm so hilarious. Let's get back to Sunuru's world here... guess what? I GOT TO PRINT OUT UNTIL THE MORNING COMES!! That story rocks! Here it is: Until the Morning Comes
I stared down at her sleeping figure, watching her while she slept. Her bright hazel eyes were closed gently, and her soft brown hair sat upon her shoulders as her chest moved up and down… up and down… Though she was only a child, and during the day, this elegance was disguised, in her sleep, a true beauty was revealed. “Saku…” I reached my hand out, and touched her porcelain-white skin. Deep down inside of me, I truly suspected to feel the cold skin of a priceless china doll, but instead, warmth rushed through me; warmth I hadn’t felt in over three millennia. Once again, I whispered her name. “Saku Sumeri Yemaka… I’m so confused by you. Ever since I first met you, a strange feeling has seemed to follow me everywhere. It burns me--scorches my soul--yet, it charms me, and causes me to smile whenever I think of you. What is this emotion I possess? A part of me knows that you are the cause of it.” Suddenly, Saku’s eyes began to open. At first, she didn’t even have a clue what was happening after the shock of being awakened, but it didn’t take her long to notice my presence. She stared up at me, smiling wearily. “Yami,” she murmured. “What are you doing up?” It took me a moment to decide which to do: Lie to her and rescue my dignity, or tell her the truth and expose my warmer self. However, I didn’t take very long in choosing my answer. “I came in to check on you, Saku,” I replied. The girl’s smile only grew brighter after those words. “Thank you very much. I thought only ProtoMan came to check on me at night.” “You’re wrong. I do too. However, this time I had a bit of a troublesome time getting in here. Your door was locked, so I had to use one of your mother’s old hair pins to break in.” “Wow. You can pick a lock with just a hair pin?” I crossed my arms, deciding to relish this well-deserved appreciation. “I am the King of Thieves, child. What do you expect?” Saku giggled to herself. “I don’t know. I’m not friends with any thieves, so I don’t really know what to expect, Yami. I guess now I know not to underestimate you.” “That’s alright. You didn’t know better.” I paused. “I… I have a question to ask you, darling. I know you won’t be able to fully understand the meaning of my words, but please try your hardest to give me an answer.” She nodded as a sign for me to continue. “Ever since the day I met you, I have felt a strange sensation in my heart. It feels as if… my inner darkness--my inner rage--is growing weaker. And I know that you are the cause. Saku… when you look at me, what do you see? When you hold my hand, what do you feel? When you stare into my eyes… who is the person you are viewing?” The girl’s entire expression was of pure confusion. She bit her lower lip, obviously thinking over my question. “As I said, you’ll probably not be able to totally grasp what I’m trying to say.” “No--I completely understand. When I look at you, I see light mixed with darkness. When you hold my hand, I feel protected; like nothing could ever even hope to hurt me… and when I stare into your eyes, I am viewing someone very strong, but tainted by anger and sadness. You are a good man, but the shadows are slowly taking over you.” Saku’s words surprised me--Not only how well she understood, but how true she was. I stared at her, wide-eyed. “Shadows taking over me? That can’t be. I am the darkness itself.” “That isn’t true. You’re transforming yourself into a monster in an attempt to get revenge on the ones who were awful to you.” “S--Saku…” “Yami,” the girl said firmly. “You’ll never be completely evil, though hatred is consuming you. You’re always going to have a small piece of light in your soul, driving your dark actions.” I was practically speechless. How can she see into me? How can she read my heart like an open book when even I cannot make out the text!? “I know you want to be vile, but deep down, all you want is for someone to understand you--to care for you.” It took all my strength to keep tears from welling up in my eyes. “To care for me? Nobody has ever cared for me… My whole life was nothing but being rejected and despised.” Saku sat up, and wrapped her arms around me. The tears I could feel leaking through my shirt were contagious, and soon, I too began to cry. Damn, I thought. This was the one thing I didn’t want the child to see. “I--” the girl whispered. “I do.” “What?” “I care about you, Yami. You don’t have to give into the darkness… because you don’t have to worry about being alone anymore. Because you have me!” Right then, my tears stopped falling. I knew there was nothing to sob about anymore. I squeezed Saku tighter, and rubbed her back comfortingly. “I didn’t mean to make you weep,” I said quietly. “Please stop.” “Okay. I’m sorry, Yami. I bet you think I’m really stupid for crying like that.” the girl laughed embarrassedly, though she was still sniveling and wiping the tears from her eyes. I shook my head. “There’s nothing for you to apologize for, darling. Thanks to you, I think I finally understand this strange feeling I haven’t been able to comprehend for so long… It’s love, my dear. Any time I’m near you, I feel the need to protect you, and stand by you no matter what. I… love you, Saku.” A peaceful smile appeared on the girl’s face, and her eyes closed once again. I knew that sleep was claiming her. She laid back, and let out a quiet yawn. “Yami?” she mumbled. “What?” “I want to know if you’ll stay with me tonight… to protect me from bad dreams. Will you stay with me until the morning comes?” I smirked, and lifted the blankets over both of us. “Of course I will.” “Thank… you… Rakikai…” My name? I thought. Saku called me by my true name. With joy in my heart, and relief in my mind, I decided that maybe I too needed some rest. Delicately, I took her in my arms in a protective embrace. Like before, her breath slowed, signaling that she had fallen asleep. Saku, I will always protect you, I promised. I will not let anyone hurt you, and I will not let the darkness consume me. Perhaps hatred is what makes me weaker. Maybe love truly is an unbeatable power… and the cause for all my failures is because I chose to fight on the side of evil. I let out a long sigh, knowing that I would dose off soon as well. Whatever the case, I know what I need to do now; I must watch over you, and always care for you--love you. I’ll give you everything I was never fortunate enough to have. And with those thoughts, my tired mind decided to rest. So I stopped thinking, closed my eyes, and let myself fall asleep… but made sure to keep a firm grip on Saku. After all, I didn’t want any nightmares to come while I was asleep. Just in case YOU wanna print it out. See ya later, guys. That's a lot to report, eh? PS: Sorry for possible typos. 2007-04-27 05:56:34 GMT
