The Guide to Living With an Evil Yami
LESSON 1: OBTAINING A YAMI
Though ending up with a yami is incredibly rare, I have met two people other than me with split personality problems. How did they get their yamis? Simple. The answer, my friends, is getting their hands on a Millennium Item. Those things are bad news. More often than not, a Millennium Item contains an ancient Egyptian spirit, who is just itching to get out and possess a body. That's where you come in. You're the yami's personal "host".

I'm sure now that you're all aware that possession can happen to anybody, here are some simple steps to staying safe and sound, and preventing yamis from EVER hurting you:

1. Stay away from golden items with eyes in the middle.

2. If someone sends you a golden item with an eye in the middle, don't touch it.

3. If you hear voices when you come near a certain area, walk away.

4. Stay away from Egypt if you can.

5. Keep your relatives away from Egypt if you can!

6. Keep your FRIENDS away from Egypt if you can!!

7. KEEP ANYONE YOU KNOW AWAY FROM EGYPT IF YOU CAN!!!!!!!

But what if you end up ignoring my advice, and getting a yami anyway?
LESSON 2: FIRST ENCOUNTERING YOUR YAMI
When I first met my split personality, I was SCARED. You'll be scared, too, naturally, but try to keep a level head, no matter how many threats the spirit may throw at you. Of course, they'll try many tactics to make you give your body up to them, such as trying to intimidate you, tempt you by making false promises, and even abusing you until you give in. Even then, try to resist. This is YOUR body, after all! You have to fight to protect it!

Anyway, yamis have ways of getting to you. Their words are like knives cutting into you. Here are some possible things they might say, and you might have to ignore in the future.

1. "Hey, wanna take over the world?"

2. "So you're my host."

3. "You seem weak..."

4. "Is there something you've always wanted, my friend?"

5. "I'm free... Finally freeeeee!!!"

6. "If you want to keep your skin, you'd join me."

7. "Just relax, and surrender your body. In return, I'll protect you."

8. "Don't worry. Possession doesn't hurt a bit."

9. "The world will bow before us!"

10. "Get me some whiskey, will ya?"

See? No matter what they say, they're up to no good. If a yami happens to have some personality traits that you consider to be violent, then he isn't someone you want to be around. However, there ARE rare occasions where the yami will be your friend, and protect you for no sacrifices. Just make sure to look out... Yamis CAN be evil!!
LESSON 3: DEFENDING YOURSELF FROM ABUSE
If a yami attacks you, here are the dos and don'ts of defending yourself.

DO: Scream. Try to calm the him down. Ask what he wants. Say you're sorry. Plead him to stop. Cry. Try to stop the bleeding. Curl up into a ball. Play dead.

DON'T: Fight back. Yell at him. Leave yourself open to an attack. Complain. Laugh. Smile. Insult him.
As you can see, yamis are dangerous things. They want to control the world, and WILL hurt you, so make sure to stay safe... and FAR away from Millennium Items!!
