Description: Orochimaru was the third Hokage's best student. Though twisted and sadistic, Sarutobi believed that he could teach Orochimaru to be an honorable shinobi. However, when he failed to elect Orochimaru as the next Hokage, Sarutobi was forced to watch his student turn against him.
As years passed, Orochimaru grew the insane desire to learn every jutsu ever to exist. So, in order to accomplish his goal, he kidnapped random Leaf Village citizens, and used their bodies for "jutsu developement." When the Hokage found out about this, Orochimaru was forced out of Konoha. It was at that time he escaped to the Sound Village and joined the Akatsuki.
Later on, it would come to be that Orochimaru would covet Itachi's Sharingan, and attempt to steal it from him. That marked the end of his alliance with the Akatsuki, and the beginning of his life as the most notorious rogue ninja of all time.
IMPORTANT NOTE: In the Cyberu world, Orochimaru managed to take over the Akatsuki, becoming the "head hancho" of the organization. That means that all of his previous servants are now part of the Akatsuki.
